Champagne soup: the best recipe

What is champagne soup?

The original recipe for champagne soup is a little different from the one we know today.

It is a traditional French recipe that dates back to the 19th century. It also included white wine, cognac and sugar. At that time, it was served hot and was considered a main course.

Today it is made with champagne, cointreau, lemon juice, raspberry syrup and garnished with whole raspberries. The soup is served cold and is also popular as a cocktail. It is offered in bars and clubs in Paris for special occasions such as birthdays or parties.

The preparation of the champagne soup is relatively simple. All the ingredients are mixed in a bowl and the mixture is then poured into a bottle of brut champagne.

The original recipe for champagne soup is quite simple and requires only a few ingredients. However, there are many similar recipes that use different fruits or liqueurs.

If you want to make this cocktail at home, all you need to do is buy some champagne, Cointreau and some raspberries. You can also use other fruits like peaches or oranges.

Start by mixing the brut champagne and sugar syrup in a container. Then add the Cointreau, then the raspberries and finally the lemon juice. Mix well and place your champagne soup in the refrigerator for one hour.

Your champagne soup is now ready to be served! If you want to serve it as a cocktail, add some ice cubes and a slice of lemon. You can also serve it with a glass of brut or rosé champagne.
